This page describes the current website implementation in plain language. It is not a substitute for advice from qualified legal counsel.
Information we collect
The information collected depends on how you use the website.
- Catering inquiries: name, email, phone, event date, estimated guest count, event type, location, menu interest, and details you choose to provide.
- Employment inquiries: name, email, phone, area of interest, availability, desired hours, restaurant experience, and the message you choose to provide.
- Gift-card orders: purchaser and recipient names, purchaser contact details, shipping address, optional gift message, order items, payment status, fulfillment details, and tracking information. Payment card details are collected by Stripe rather than by the Nonno's server.
- Technical information: hosting and security systems may receive information such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
- Information you submit on an external email, text-message, ordering, maps, social-media, or pesto-store service is handled by that service under its own privacy practices.
How information is used
Information may be used to respond to inquiries, evaluate general employment interest, process and fulfill gift-card orders, send transactional messages, provide customer support, protect the website, diagnose problems, maintain business records, and—when analytics consent is granted—understand how visitors use the site and which pages lead to restaurant contact actions.
- Information submitted for one purpose is not a reservation confirmation or an employment offer.
Consent-based analytics
With your affirmative permission, the website loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and approved interactions such as menu views, menu PDF downloads, calls, directions, pickup-ordering clicks, and catering-form progress. Analytics remains off when you reject it, and you can change or revoke your choice through Cookie Settings in the website footer.
Analytics receives controlled event names, normalized page paths, and limited classifications such as CTA placement, menu type, approved PDF filename, or the TogoOrder provider name. The implementation is designed not to send customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, event dates, guest counts, inquiry text, gift-card order references, form contents, or other direct identifiers to analytics.
Google may process browser, device, session, attribution, and interaction information to provide the analytics service. Google Analytics may set first-party measurement cookies after consent is granted. Event-level analytics retention is configured for 14 months. Advertising features, Google Signals, remarketing, user IDs, user-provided data collection, customer matching, and server-side measurement are not enabled.
Services that help operate the website
Information is shared with service providers when needed to run the website and complete the action you request.
- Stripe processes gift-card payments and stores order, contact, and shipping details used for payment and fulfillment.
- Shippo receives shipping and contact information needed to create postage and tracking for physical gift cards.
- Resend receives contact and message content needed to deliver catering, careers, and gift-card emails.
- Vercel hosts the website and processes requests, server logs, and operational data needed to serve and secure the site.
- Google provides Tag Manager and Analytics 4 after analytics consent is granted and processes the limited usage and interaction data described above.
- USPS receives delivery information through the shipping process.
Retention and security
Except for the 14-month event-level analytics setting described above, no fixed retention period is promised in this policy. Information may remain with Nonno's and its service providers for operational, accounting, support, security, and legal needs. A formal retention schedule requires owner and legal review.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used in the website, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and contact
You may choose not to submit an online form and may call the restaurant instead. You may reject or revoke Analytics and control Functional Media through Cookie Settings without losing access to ordinary site content. Browser controls can also limit cookies or storage, although doing so may prevent secure checkout from working correctly.
For a privacy question or request concerning information handled by Nonno's, contact the restaurant. Some records may need to be kept where required for transactions, security, or other legitimate business needs.
