This page describes the current website implementation in plain language. It is not a substitute for advice from qualified legal counsel.
Strictly Necessary
The website stores a small, versioned first-party preference containing only your Analytics and Functional Media choices. The gift-card store uses session storage to keep a temporary cart while you move to checkout; that cart is removed after checkout and normally ends when the browser session ends. These technologies do not create advertising profiles.
- Stripe's embedded payment experience may use cookies, browser storage, device information, and similar technology when checkout is used for payment functionality, fraud prevention, security, and remembering payment preferences. Stripe controls that technology under its own policies.
Analytics
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 load only after you affirmatively accept Analytics. They measure controlled page and interaction events to help Nonno's understand menu interest, calls, directions, pickup intent, and catering inquiries. Common Google Analytics cookies include _ga, used to distinguish visitors, and _ga_<container>, used to persist session state. Google commonly assigns these cookies a two-year expiration, although browser controls or later choices may shorten their life.
- Analytics is disabled by default. Rejecting Analytics prevents GTM and GA4 from loading. You can later revoke consent through Cookie Settings; the site then stops generating analytics events and removes known first-party Google Analytics cookies where the browser permits.
- Customer form contents, contact details, event information, gift-card order references, and direct identifiers are not approved analytics parameters.
Functional Media
Privacy-enhanced YouTube players on the Press page are replaced with placeholders until you allow Functional Media. Allowing this category loads content from youtube-nocookie.com. This choice is independent from Analytics and can be changed later through Cookie Settings.
Marketing and external sites
Marketing and advertising tracking are not enabled on this website. Links for online ordering, directions, email or text signup, social media, press coverage, and the Simply Nonno's store open external services that may use their own cookies or browser storage after you leave this site. Review those services' notices for details.
Your controls
Use Cookie Settings in the website footer to accept, reject, or revoke optional categories. Most browsers also let you remove or block cookies and site storage. Blocking storage or Stripe technology may prevent the gift-card cart or secure payment flow from working.
